Canoe Bear Head Lake. Rent a canoe for a whole day or half day.

There a some really nice hiking trails in the park. Some of them are groomed for XC skiing in the winter, 5.5 miles.

Explore the park by canoe, SUP, or fishing boat with rentals available at the park office.

Wildlife sightings and great birding.

Year round fishing at 2 designated trout lakes, Norberg & Cub Lake. Check the calendar for seasonal fishing dates.

The Trail Center is a warming shelter for snowmobile travelers in the winter, and gathering spot year round.

Piney Woods is just down the road from the Eagles Nest Trailhead. You can ride east into Ely, or west through Lake Vermilion State Park.
